Light In The Piazza - I've listened to it at least once a day since buying it and I never get tired of listening to it.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I've had the OBC album of 'A Little Night Music' for years. I still find it absolutely delicious.

I think Rent or Bklyn.
And recently, Spelling Bee.

A Chorus Line - needs no explaination
JC Superstar - ALW's best (and probably only brilliant) show
Nine - I actually like the score BETTER than the show

Right now I'd have to say the concert CD of HAIR. That keeps finding its way back into my car about once a week. Other fav's would be Dreamgirls (concert) & Sweeney Todd (concert).

I get sick of hearing just about anything over and over but....
I still find myself listening to Aida and The Boy From Oz (I can always be moved by hearing Hugh's voice).

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

Surprisingly enough, i've never gotten tired of Wicked. the score is just amazing to me and even after a good 16 months of having the CD, I can still find some new little thing every now and then that I didn't catch before. I love it more for the orchestration than the singing now though.

I've been listening to Tick...tick...Boom! since early April and still love it, but that doesn't really count as a musical that's stood the test of time with me. I'd have to love it for a good year before I consider it impressive that i'm not bored.

because when it's theatre, nothing else matters
