basically everything in spelling bee kills me, but here are some: the slow motion thing, when Barfee is spelling a word with is foot, in slow motion, he spelled it right, and then all of a sudden it's reg. time, and he goes "i know"
the i fell thing-i almost fell out of my seat laughing
"if you take the silent w from answer, the h from ghost, the extra a from aardvark, and the t from listen, you could spell 'what', but nobody would ever hear it." is that it?
I love when I saw Hairspray and in "Without Love", Right when Seaweed sang "living in the ghetto..." and whipped out a switchblade to cut away Penny's ropes...it was so funny! I also love the ad libs Bruce Vilanch added into "Timeless to Me"..I was laughing so hard!
***It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.

On of my favorites is in Wicked when the two girls are shown in their dorm room and their closets come rolling out and Glinda's has shelves and shelves of sparkling, glittering shoes. I have no idea why, but this had me laughing for a whiel during the show.
"Will the world remember you when you fall?" Les Miserables
This has got to be the tiniest moment ever, but in the OBC of Sweeney Todd in A Little Priest, Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou have a moment of uprorius laughter after the 'with or without his privates?' Then the laughter dies down and there's silence for a second before you can hear Lansbury, very softly, laugh this little 'hoo-hoo.' It cracks me up every time.
Dorothy and Toto went over the Rainbow to blow off Auntie Em..,..
LOL! Puts it all in perspective! LOVE it. And yes... it's sad but "Lemons and apples and pears oh my" LOVE it.
Usually though, the little moments that make me laugh are ones you're NOT supposed to laugh at, that strike me as really really funny. So I'll be the one chocking down my laughter during the death/love/serious scene.
Everything in this room is *eat*able. Even I'm *eat*able. But that is called cannibalism, my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies. ~Willy Wonka

DRS: "OMG, it's like the David's. Who are we kidding with?"
Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."
In AIDA during Enchantment Passing Through, Heather goes, "are you talking about Nubia now?" The way Adam says "Yes! In a way..." I don't know why it;s so amusing LOL
a lot of tiny moments in wicked, but the only one that hasnt been mentioned was after as long as youre mine:
fiyero: "no one lives there except the centuries who watch over it. weve never lived there" elphaba: "where do you live" fiyero: "oh the other castle" elphaba: "oh, of course" i think shoshana is the only one who does that, dont remember if stephanie did, but i found it hilarious.
Bob: "there is a chance, albeit a microscopic one, that our baby at some point in his or her formative years will get lodged in a tree"

Kendra Kassebaum's foot lift during "Popular" in Wicked.
BTW, Steph does say the "oh, of course". I thought it was really funny, and I had forgotten it by the time the show go to LA.
Also, on the Phantom tour, during the Il Muto ballet, the man who plays the cuckholded old man holds this one low note FOREVER. He's the only actor who does that with he part, and it always earns him an extra round of appluase.
The "I'm gonna jump" line from Q always gets me too.
Couple amusing things in response to things already said..
The whole thing regarding "wop"...you know I'm a theatre geek when initially I thought the reason you were discussing the word was b/c during WSS after "Cool" when Riff and Bernardo are discussing terms of the rumble, and the gangs start fighting the last thing spoken by a Shark to a Jet is "wop" before they almost start fighting but Riff and Bernardo stop them. Oopsy.
The whole Jesse falling off the bleachers--soo funny, but what everyone forgets is that it doesn't happen entirely at random, it happens right after Rona says that this is a very strange age for girls. Then Leaf falls off and she adds "and for boys."
Oh, and this one is worth mentioning b/c in my 7 times seeing the show, the only time I wasn't the only one in the entire theatre laughing/catching it was when my friend caught the reference and started laughing. Right after Norbert spits the nuget into John's hand, he throws it out starts, hmming and smiling. Then Greg says "you can't be serious" and John says something about "he's so deliciously low"-I ALWAYS laugh at the My Fair Lady line, and the only one so.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
Mine are also from Spelling Bee too. I love it when Vice Principal Panch starts to lose it and says emphatically "It's Vice Principal Panch--Vice Principal Panch. They won't let me be Principal!" And Barfee from over in the bleachers says, "I WONDER WHY!" Also when Ms. Peretti announces the five finalists and gets to William and says now from ....Country Day School..William Barfee (mispronouncing his name once again )--and he just say---"'Oh for God's Sake."
