Did anyone go to the first preview tonight, or last night's invited dress? I walked past tonight when the show was letting out and there was a (predictably) HUGE crowd at the stage door.

Wow, used to be that you could pop on here hours after the first preview of almost any show and find posts from people who attended. I was waiting to see something posted as I am not sure I want to see this. I do want to see it for the show itself but I still am not crazy about Jackson plaing King. Wanted to read opinions on how his performance is.
It's had exactly one public performance. Hard to fathom for some, but there's a possibility that nary a single BWW member was in attendance.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Too bad Aaron Tveit wasn't cast as MLK. There'd certainly be interest then!

Ha, hi ljay! Yes as you know the two of us are normally at the first preview, but we couldn't go to this one till this Sunday evening. I'll be sure to post after and share some thoughts.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
So, no one went to the first preview of THE MOUNTAINTOP?
This board is racist.

There's a brief review over on All That Chat. It features a major spoiler (although, by this point, I'd venture to say most of us know what that spoiler is).
It's not very complimentary.
