Got the same e-mail, and I have no idea. It's on a Monday, which means... it's charging tickets to go to a working dress rehearsal? I'm not really sure what's going on.

Is orchestra or mezzanine better for this production?

Hoping to get a school group some tickets for May, but booked my own ticket for July. Pricing wasn't as bad as Moulin Rouge. The second row was $249.99 and I booked the row in center orchestra directly beneath the overhang. Cheapest tickets I saw were $49.

Just got my ticket. I must say, Ticketmaster was much easier and worked much better than all the nonsense you have to go through with technical issues, etc. on Telecharge on-sale dates.

Just got my ticket for first preview, for the first row of the mezz that was $49. Noticed that those same seats increase to $129 per ticket after previews.

Just grabbed a ticket - the pricing for the last few rows of the mezzanine are priced very reasonably considering how great of a view it offers!

Are you sure you got the front row of the mezzanine? I don't see any seats there for $149.

I wandered up to the balcony during intermission of Falsettos and it gave me vertigo. It was like being at the top of a roller coaster just before the plunge.

The balcony is a bit scary. The front row has a decent view, but when I sat up there for GGTLAM, I spent the entire time feeling anxious from the steepness of the balcony.

Are they only selling tickets through Sept 1? I will be in town that following weekend but nothing in September is there

6 months at first is about the norm these days - if it has legs then they'll release further out.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

thats what I figured. Was curious because Tootsie and Beetlejuice are both selling further out. Hopefully this and Oklahoma extend or I’ll miss both by a few days, and that sucks

It would, indeed!

Thanks for the code, CT2NYC - scored a couple of 99 dollar orch seats just before opening night.

Having seen the show last night, I would recommend partway back and center or left of center. They're good at playing to all parts but left gets some special attention. I was quite close last night and the detail was fantastic, but I remember thinking that to get the full effect of wait for me one needs to be further back.

Word is that the staging is 100% set for broadway and will not be changed from the current version. However the script and score are getting "major rewrites"

Saw the show this week and I do not know how they’re going to replicate that set for the Kerr. It looks so simple but it has so many intricate pieces to it, most notably the center of the turntable which goes DEEP into the stage.

The lighting, scenic and sound design is spectacular and I haven’t seen Oklahoma, but it’s hard to imagine anyone else winning those awards.

I think Eva, Amber and Patrick will receive nominations. Amber and Patrick seem the front runners to win this season, but in a busier season I don’t think they would. Great performances of course but I didn’t find there was as much material for their characters as I expected but easily the best performances in the show. Reeve is fine, not bad. André Deshields is electric up there and wouldn’t be shocked if he scored a nomination as well.

This is a fantastic production and I didn’t find myself falling in love with the show itself, but it really is quite special and hope it proves to be successful on Broadway.

Thanks for this, Rainah! Just to be clear, you're recommending house left (not stage left), is that correct? And about how many rows back do you think would be best?
