I have a friend who is going to see Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian @ Las Vegas, I will be going not long after, wondering if it possible to get discounts please?
I also hope to catch Cirque du Soleil O and Ka, does anybody know where I can get discounts for this too please?
I don't know about any discounts, but enjoy the production... I do think it's a tighter version of the show, but it's mostly fun as just a ridiculously over-the-top spectacle, almost to the point of hilarity.
you might want to check out the ticket center across the street from the Venetian, i think it's by the Neiman Marcus. They offer day-of discount tickets.
Check the half price ticket center in the mall on the strip. Also enjoy the show, it is so much fun (I enjoyed if MUCH more then when I saw the tour in LA).
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
Ka always has discounts galore. Right now it looks like they have $55 dollar tickets. Good luck getting any kind of sizable discounts for O.
You can easily find some Phantom ones if you search around. You may just want to hit up one of Vegas' many TKTS-style discount booths when you get there though - they have great discounts on most shows other than the top sellers (O, Love, Cher)
I stayed at the Venitian in the fall. I got discount offers after I checked out for "Phantom". Quite honestly, they play the Phantom music EVERYWHERE in the hotel including outside. So we were over it. We decided to pick a show once we got there. We decided on "KA". We got discount tickets at the discount counter which is the equivelent of TKTS Vegas. You can find them at a few places on "the strip". "KA" was fun. "O" just seems to stay sold out. If you go and get tickets a few days ahead, you can probably see "ZUMANITY". There were tickets available at a discount price but they were dark the night we wanted to go.
