Usually love Jesse, but this is just some interesting thoughts looking for a point.

Julianna Margulies and Peter Gallagher To Star In LEFT ON TENTH

Left on Tenth already sounds like the most generically titled show-within-a-show, so it makes sense the marketing should look equally generic.

Elsie Fest just happened, right? Did he make any reference to it there?

NYT: Benj Pasek and Justin Paul Join the EGOT Club. What Does That Mean?
 Sep 9 2024, 01:27:21 PM

In the minority, maybe, but I don't like it when two awards for the same project counts towards EGOT. From Ben and Cynthia's Emmy wins for a promotional appearance, to P&P, among others, winning a Grammy for the same product they put on Broadway.

Darren was on Elvis Duran Show, and discusses the show!

FYI at the end of today's Elvis Duran show, he said Darren might be interviewing tomorrow. Interesting that he said maybe.

Grossed out but can't say I'm not surprised by the high ticket prices, his name was getting $180-$350 for Little Shop. But the Little Shop name was a big help.

I Feel Like Disney Might Not Do Shows On Broadway Anymore

If I recall correctly, there were no plans to bring Newsies to Broadway, but it went so well at Papermill they transferred it to Broadway and did well. When they aimed Little Mermaid, Tarzan, and Frozen for Broadway, it didn't. Maybe they're better off not aiming straight for Broadway, and only if they back into a hit, then they can transfer.

While I am bummed Giuseppe Basilio isn't part of the regular ensemble, otherwise I'm excited to see so much real diversity in the cast.

I'm praying to the Broadway gods that she overlaps with Alyssa's run and out of Broadway week, so I can use the normal discount for a solo ticket - win-win-win!

With my various issue trying to buy on their site, if I can't move after a few tries, I just call them and tell them what I want. I wonder if their callers are fielding more calls since I can't imagine anyone finds their site worth the effort.

Hey now let's not hit Elvis Duran with collateral damage. I happen to enjoy the morning show.

How is first row orchestra at the Hudson? I'd love some legroom if there is anyway, but is the stage too high?

Bernadette Peters agenda

Even if she wanted to do it, I can't imagine it more than a concert run. It's an endurance test of a role.

The reason I ask is because I swear the way people describe Ato it's also how I felt about Omari - so I'm wondering if the common link is actually the direction of the character and not the actor."

Can't speak for Omari, but I did see Nathan Ives Moiba, and his Cliff was such an energy suck that I thought maybe this was his

Telecharge interactive seating map issues?

It's awful. You can't read it first off. We try to book accessible seats, and it only shows the first three options. Hit "show more" nothing happens. You try to do the search again or refresh to try to see the same seats? Your IP address is flagged and you have to call them.

Also, I feel like it's been like this even before the latest upgrade, but why offer the multiple performance option if you can't go back to one you've look at before without it fr

Indeed. EGOT Rita Moreno played the role in the London production for a vacationing Petula Clark for several weeks in September and October 1996:

It's an easy oversight. Only two months, close to the end of the show's run, and Rita wasn't exactly in the career renaissance she's enjoying now.

Not gonna lie, Bowman was kind of a meh choice IMO to take on a big alternate role. Gonzalez, on the other hand, is an extremely pleasant surprise. And I have to say, having both the main and alternate Norma not being played by the typically white leading ladies is refreshing.

Sure because second from the stage and second row from the back are entirely the same experience.
