New look to the charts!  It will take some adjusting... but I like the changes.

Chart will take a little while to get use too. Left/Right Up/Down. Was like watching a tennis match. :)

Happy to see Beetlejuice and The Prom up when everything else was down!

I cannot believe i am saying this but unless a miracle happens, it looks very likely that Tootsie is gone after the winter holidays.
Thats amazing. This is the height of the summer ticket sales and this is the best it can do at this point?  $90.00 avg tix price at 75% capacity? Santino's tony win actually seemed to make sales go down...
Jees....

Moulin Rouge set a Hirschfeld box office record.

Not surprising but still.

Jujamcyn isnt going to have to worry about tenants for some time by the looks of these numbers for all of their shows.

Come From Away seems to be slipping ever so slightly, but wow I still can’t believe they’ve made it this far.

I was wondering about Come From Away as well but I think they've made so much money, both on Broadway and globally, that they'll be around for a lot longer.

Happy for Beetlejuice, I hope it keeps up. Too bad about Tootsie but I think the bottom line is that the movie isn't as beloved or relevant as say Pretty Woman or Moulin Rouge.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I can’t find the article, I think it was Forbes or Washington Post but somewhere they said Come From Away weekly expenses were 450,000, and that was pre-recoupment. It will be around for a long time.

Beetlejuice has climbed slightly each week since the Tony Awards.   I wonder if their advance also shows this impact.

With the oncoming closings of Kong, Cher, Woman, etc, will Tootsie and Beetlejuice increase?    I realize that we are going into a slow period (Sept-Oct), but they may get some of that crowd.

RE: Come From Away, it had it's first available discount this summer since previews. It's still grossing ~$900k a week and selling out. It also just had it's 1,000 performance. It's easier to get a ticket now and with a discount, but it's not going anywhere anytime soon. I'd fully expect it to reach 2,000 performances.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Also, re Come From Away, $450K is ridiculously low.
"

Wouldn't surprise me if it is as its the same running cost as Beautiful.

Really?  I don't find it to be all that different.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Are you on a pc or mobile? On mobile you can only see 2 shows or 2 weeks at a time for an individual show now since you have to scroll left and right. Some of the other new features are nice but this main change is rather terrible to me.

The new format takes some getting used to, but I really like it. It’s the same info. I do like that I can scroll easier in my phone’s web browser.

Unless things have changed drastically in the last 6 months or so, CFA's weekly operating costs are much higher than $450k per week.

There is no way on God's green earth Come From Away's nut is significantly higher than $450 000.

I've been proven wrong frequently, but I think Tootsie could close virtually at any time.

I also don't see how it could be anything over $450k. No super big name actors (Jenn Colella I think is the biggest name), no large changing set pieces (the turn-table seems to be the biggest expense), no property it's based on, and it's only 100 mins total. Besides the cost to rent out the theater, I can't really see what would be more expensive.
