Wow, uh let's see... Phantom, Love Never Dies, Mamma Mia and Cats. I know I hate the music for all of these, and I know I hate the story for all of these. Not worth my time to sit through them and hate the shows.
"Not that this will affect (effect? I can never get those) any ones judgements about me (which is sort of ironic, seeing as you never met me, yet you hate me which is in a way hypocritical but I digress.....).
I'm sorry."
You have nothing to be sorry about. It's those who mock you who should be sorry. Don't let them get you down.
You write well, and have good things to contribute. And I hope you will.
Love Never Dies. Hate the story, hate the premise, hate the lyrics, hate the music. I thought it was pretty rich (but not unexpected) of ALW and his minions at RUG to claim that anyone who hadn't seen the show was not allowed to judge the material and that their opinions were invalid. Especially considering it was ALW himself who pioneered the idea of the concept album -- does that mean that anyone who listened to the concept album of Superstar without seeing the show live couldn't express any opinion on it? I judge the material, not the production. Not the choreography, not the design, not the direction, not even the performers, but the piece. The material won't change with me seeing the show live. Plus it's even on DVD now for all to see how s&%# it is. If I hated that, why on earth would I torture myself by paying to see it live? I did actually have tickets to see it and gave them away as quickly as I could.
Does having to listen to both the film and musical recordings of Mamma Mia count? I had to listen to them for about three and a half hours non-stop on a car trip because my aunt is obsessed with the show-and because we were going to a wedding, she felt we HAD to just keep listening to it over and over.
I can safely say that I will never see that show EVER. I don't want to hear the score again or watch the film.
I hate the shows that everyone loves because it makes me cool. And I hate the shows that are popular and run a long time because I'm better than the general public. Oh, and I always hate the shows the cool people on BWW hate because that also makes me cool like them. And if at all possible, I will sound like a total bitchface when I give my opinion and personally attack anyone who disagrees with me because that means I'm better, smarter, and more worthwhile than all the stupid people who have opinions.
I don't have opinions. I have a persona.

LOL! Oh, Matt, this belongs on an engraved plaque hanging on the walls of so many who post here. Too many. It's a BWW credo.
