i would have liked to have seen Kirk, i think he's great in everything i've seen him in. The character was kind of blah when i saw it, not bad, not great. i don't think it's the performer's fault. It's a bit underwritten (particularly at first---then has to make a dramatic turn), and seems to have been cut back so much, that you need a strong personality. i've seen Harrison in plays and his acting is very affecting, if a little "small" perhaps for overblown musical style. i'd like to hear him sing, and see him in a bigger musical role that might be more naturalistic.

Can I say something funny about this guy? I don't seek the autographs but I stand back and watch them signing and I caught him try to sign someone's playbill who didn't want it!! HAHA!! I'm not saying he's a diva or anything it was just a funny moment how he made a point to stay for 20 minutes and sing EVERY playbill and this moment when he reached out to sign one and the person wasn't even looking at him was priceless. I guess you had to be there.

Randy is wonderful! He's back in his element! :) Yes, he is a CCM grad...although its funny that he was the 'underdog' at our school......now he's laughing his ass all the way to the bank! Go get 'em! ALthough, he was part of a VERY talented class!
I SO wish I could see Randy in Wicked. e is one of my favorite cast memebers on Queer as Folk and I would love to see him in his element and back where he began.. on a musical stage.
Not only did I think Randy was amazing in his role but he's also one of the nicest people you could ever meet. It's obvious how much he loves being up on that stage. I can't wait to see him in future projects after Queer as Folk is done.
My friend went to the June 20th performance (Randy's opening night) and was sitting in the same row as his boyfriend and his parents. She didn't go up and talk to them or anything, but still... kinda cool.
I wish I could see him, but there's no possible way to score tickets any time soon. Everyone's trying to catch Cheno before she leaves.
I saw Randy for the first time at Cheno's last perf, and I was impressed for the most part. First off, he brings a genuine youthful enthusiasm to the part, something missing from a lot of the actors in act one, considering they're all students. He was really adorable with Cheno and Norbs in their exchanges, all the while making Boq less passive than Christopher. While his dancing is iffy, and his last speech didn't go off that well, he has a surprisingly pleasant voice and a nice presence on stage, and I'd like to see him in another musical.

He has a much more smooth voice than Christopher, and I actually liked that better. I'm going to wait to see Christopher again to see if I still like Randy better.
To be honest, all these comments about "he was OK" or his singing was "decent" etc. makes me CRAZY. Just because he's on TV doesn't mean he deserves to be in a hit Broadway show. And, don't we as paying customers deserve (and demand) someone better than "just OK". I am also getting a sense that because he's so 'cute', 'darling', 'adorable', 'hot' etc some here thing it's perfectly acceptable that he's not of a higher caliber.
And I am sure most of us personally know someone who has the talent to play that and a host of other roles taken by those with less talent and only slightly more 'marquee' names.
