Charity is making a nice amount of money. Making more money than other shows. But the attendance could be better. I do believe Applegate sells tickets - all those people were dissapointed to see Charlotte - because they bought tickets to see Christina - even though Charlotte is a true theatre talent - they want to see the shows celebrity star.

Posted: 7/9/05 at 10:56amThe show is above its break-even; there would be no revival without Applegate--that's my point. Weisslers closed the show rather than open with d'Amboise. Folks have jobs because of Applegate. That's all I am saying.

Very true. I think it just shows how much Applegate cares for Broadway when she got the show back on. This was her dream to be on Broadway. Next time people bash Applegate - they should realize she kept some of our favorite Broadway talents in work - and she is keeping one the BEST ensembles on Broadway in work.
