I find it highly believable that either of them would shag either sex as psychopaths don't usually have a sexuality. They will shag whoever gives them attention x
"

Hi, have you seen the play? That's not an accurate description. I don't want to put in spoilers. Martha invitesthe guests, George does not want them. Martha is so nasty to George that he breaks down and returns the favor to her and the guests, who happen to be in the way. That too is way too simplistic. George is not really"getting his kicks" from the experience, and he is in noposition to "shag" anyone. The evening does not go at all like Martha expected.
"

Yes I have seen the play many times and the film many times x

Not a fan of Rupert Everett. And really don't see him as ideal casting for WOOLF.  If I can get a reasonably cheap ticket, I would like to see Metcalf again.

I’d follow Metcalf into hell.

Tickets are now on sale, so when can we expect a discount code?

Anyone else find it funny that this production is playing at the Booth, the same theatre where the last revival played?

Just came here to say it’s playing the Booth (per its Instagram page), but I hadn’t seen any announcement. I believe there have been several shows that played the same Bway house over the years (including Gypsy and Fiddler).

The Booth is a perfect for any play, so this will be a great fit.

Scott Rudin's shows generally have a discount pretty quickly.

There was an announcement on the Playbill webiste earlier today.  I don't know if that counts as "official."  The show definitely plays well in a smaller theater, but I was really hoping that it was playing the Golden for sentimental reasons given Metchalf's residency there during the previous three seasons.  Mantello might be comfortable directing at the Booth where he directed BitB.  Truthfully, I'm excited to see it in any theater.

Well, I bought my ticket yesterday, so I think that's pretty official.

I'm considering getting tickets to this show for my birthday but I'd love some advice...should people recommend I watch the movie as well?

Don't watch the movie if you like the element of surprise. Watch it after.

Don't watch the movie.

If you wait to buy tickets, there should be plenty of steep discounts available for this one.

Does anyone know what's this show running time? 90 minutes or two acts with intermission?

Thank you.

It’s typically at least three hours long, with two intermissions.
