All the best to her I just might have to go see it now when I am in the City in June.

She looks fabulous! I know she can sing, but I wonder if she has the chops for a role of this caliber. All the best to her! Wish I could see her in the show!
I think the role is one of the most difficult on Broadway vocally. Just in "Fabulous Baby", she has to belt an A flat at one point, and then hold out an F on the final note, if I'm correct.
Not gonna lie, I think Raven-Symone is hilarious-- just maybe not always intentionally. I think she'll do a fine job in this show. She has a pleasant singing voice and is a rather adept comedian. Sister Act is pure fluff, and as long as she looks like she's having a great time onstage, everything will fall into place.
I wonder if they'll have to change any of the keys for her.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
FYI, as per their Facebook page, Rashidra Scott will play the role of Deloris the week of March 20-25.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I'm glad people are excited about Raven doing it. I'm really happy she's going to take the role. I was worried about how the show would do when Patina left but I don't think I have to worry now. I really hope I can go see her!

^My hunch is that that's the plan. They'll run it through the end of the summer on Broadway, then launch the tour with Raven ("direct from Broadway") in the fall.
