If you think the Bebe revival didn't trade in imagery and bodies like that, then you are sadly mistaken. I question if you even like theatre at all, mjohnson.
I know the show pretty well and don't recall the scene that's pictured. I'm sure someone who has seen the production can explain how it moves the story forward and fits into the time period.
The Neuwirth/Garber revival featured a locker room/shower scene with a flash of Greg Jbara's rear, but at least the ball players had realistic bodies, and the scene was played for laughs.
