I'd have to disagree with everybody and say I really like it with Bobby and Lulu...

Hmmm. And now I'm forced to wonder if that "eeeeeewwwwwwww" was toward the fact that I like it with the emcee, a man, and a woman; or if you're going inuendo on me...

Like John in Miss Saigon post-studio album is always an African-American, ever since that revival, one of the two ladies are drag.

I have the OBC album (well CD) in front of me... and all I can say is both ladies are all women. re: Cabaret-- Two Ladies

"ever since that revival, one of the two ladies are drag."

Completely untrue.

i think it really adds to the revival version because it heightens the emcee's ambiguity, and it also serves as an omen as to what's going to happen to the club, and where all the kit kats are going to be at the end of the show. i've done a version where it was played by 2 women, then another version where it was 1 woman and myself (a man), and it was much more effective and added to the story with the latter way. both times i played the gorilla too and sang the tomorrow belongs to me solo. the two ladies part is f**king high for a man!

No-one answered Rath's question about the TV actress who played one of the two ladies in '87. I swear I haven't looked it up, but were the ladies Sharon Lawrence and Ruth Gottschall?

The weird thing is I've probably seen more of Ruth Gottschall!

I just watched the final episode of NYPD Blue, which included a one-hour retrospective with scenes from past episodes. They showed the infamous Sipowitz/Sylvia shower scene, and let me just say, Sharon Lawrence has an absolutely magnificent derriere!

You are correct, wildcat! I was asking about Sharon Lawrence, but Ruth Gotschall was indeed the other "lady".

And yes, Jon, Sharon is hot. No question.
