In the previews thread some people said they would pop by this morning so I figured it would be best to start a separate thread for this likely endeavor.

Not today as I'm at work, but I will stop by tonight to see what the stage door situation is like tonight. On Saturday I will stop by the theater to see what the rush situation s like since it will be the first weekend and people could potentially be there extremely early, maybe even overnight? Do we think that will actually happen?

Thank you! I plan to go up there later in the week just couldn’t today. Yes I think overnights will be a real possibility the question will be how soon is that going to happen.

The only hope is the Lyceum has some pretty bad sight lines that I’m wondering how many rush tickets there are available.

Good question...I don't think the number of rush tickets was specified anywhere.

I wonder if there's already a line right now and how long it is. I'm really used to waking up early, so I can definitely swing by on Saturday to see what the situation is. I'll ask the first person in line what time they got there, too!

rush seats won't be front row since that's the squip zone. Perhaps the boxes or partial view?

I'll admit if rush seats are up in the balcony then I'd probably just pay the $49 regular price balcony seats rather than wait a few hours in the cold.

What is the squip zone?

The show website has the following information about the Squip Zone...

"FOR THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE,
sit in the Squip Zone (the first two rows)
and get an exclusive limited edition collector’s item.
(Items created monthly exclusively for Squip Zone ticket holders.)'

I got here at 9am today (Saturday 2/23) and if I counted right I’m 27th in line. I’ll report back if I get a ticket or not

Rushed yesterday (Saturday) at 9:00 am. About 30 in front of me. Easily got a ticket for the evening. Mezzanine row C. Partial view but I didn't miss anything except parts of a couple set pieces. No problems seeing the projections.

Any updates on weekday rush?  Any chance of getting a rush ticket an hour before curtain?

How's rush looking during the week? I'm hoping to rush the Wednesday matinee next week but I don't know what it'll look like, whether or not local schools are out, etc. (earliest I can get there is probably 9:30)

I rushed this morning and was shocked with how few people were there (even with the cold). I was the first one at 7:35. The next person was only a few min behind me. Next person not till 8:30. When the box office opened at 10am only 9 people were in line. I got orchestra A 103-104. Guess the squip zone isn’t selling (granted I didn’t fully get what the squip zone was but the girl behind me who’s seen it 3 times already both off broadway and in previews was super excited and explained it to me).

Hey guys! I have a favor or question. Is anyone planning on rushing for tomorrow? I am from out of town and really want to see this show and tomorrow is the only day I can see it. But I have a interview at 10am. Which is right when they give out rush tickets for the show. So I was wondering if anyone was rushing and only needed one ticket, if you could get two and I would pay you back.

I rushed on Wednesday (3/13) for the matinee. Got there at around 8:45, and there were a few parties ahead of me. Ended up with orchestra right C 10 and 12. These seats were partial view, and we missed a few parts, but overall pretty good for 40 dollars.

Well as to be expected with a line full of entitled mellenials we have last minute line butters. Line started before 730 and and 930 the first and third people in line had extra people walk right up to join them. Of course not really a problem if each buying 1 ticket each but they proceed to take 2 each. Already cringing at sitting through an evening surrounded by an audience of this kind of people.

Honestly the amount of "get off my lawn" old person griping about anything to do with this show is at all-time levels, it's pretty ridiculous. This type of thing - a person "saving" a space for people in line - has been happening in every rush line for every show since forever. Blaming it on "entitled millenials" and "this kind of people" is the epitome of grumpy old man/lady behavior.

Were they millennials who let people butt in line? If so then your griping about people griping is the exact thing you felt you needed to log on here to bitch about.

Hey guys! I appreciate the messages. By a crazy turn of events I ended up going to the theatre at 6:50 and they had one rush ticket left in the front row. I was shocked! So I guess it depends on the day, and how many people rush for tickets. But it’s a great show!

It’s 8:20 and 12 people in line on this two show Saturday. First person got here at six. I’m third and got here about 7:45.
If you’re in the neighborhood, and not already drunk for the parade, might be a decent day to come join the line

Hey Fam, rushed this morning, March 20th, arrived at 8:25 and there were 10 people in front of me. Snagged 2 rush tickets, Orchestra J15-17!
