Danny will be great, no doubt but man, they really need a name for this revival. I don’t foresee it ending well, unfortunately.

I wish there was some kind of rush/discount available when they were in Utica. Their second performance was 1/3 full and literally nothing to be had as far as getting a ticket under $100 - they even closed the balcony. 

Right when I paid $166 each for tickets *cries*

I thought Donna was fine, but not particularly memorable. 
 

I don’t have the Playbill handy, but I was disappointed in most of the cast. The standby Elphaba was horrendous and the understudy Fiyero was equally bad.

Oh, bite me. I do day trips from Syracuse for 2-3 show days and I’m gone for a full 24 hours. If it is 80-100 degrees out, you damn well believe I’m wearing a tank top and shorts for my own comfort. Judge me if you’d like, but you paid for a performance - not was other patrons are wearing. 

I just bought partial view, front row aisle for $59. The stage is low, the seats next to them are $399+ as well. Can’t imagine they’re “partial” besides perhaps missing a band member in the recording booth.

Jessica was clearly getting over something. There were many times she would break into a coughing fit, one time in particular she was coughing for a good 30 seconds, had to breathe and compose herself and move on.

Listened to the audio floating around, and I have to say Brightman sounded better than I expected her to from ready the comments here. However, she does sound like what I would expect her to sound like (if that makes any sense). I wish she had a bit more force behind her voice, but she sounds lovely I thought.

The two things I’ve hated the most on Broadway have been Jagged Little Pill and The Great Gatsby. Absolutely baffling that either made it. Abysmal.

Between this and the “is Satine really dead?” thread, I truly worry about these boards.

Are they even selling the balcony? I looked at a few random dates and didn’t see one balcony seat.

I hope that it is FINALLY filmed over there. I’m honestly surprised Netflix didn’t do it the first (or second) time.

I was in F9 yesterday, and I thought the seat was just fine, especially for the price. You do miss a few moments but you can still see the staircase (I heard you couldn’t) and just about everything in the play. Well worth it. And the show is GREAT and lived up to the hype.

I’m in F9 this weekend. It’s labeled partial view but next to a $269 seat, so I figured it wouldn’t be TOO bad. Now I’m nervous. :(

The rush for Days of Wine and Roses are all over the theatre, not just rear mezz. I noticed that if you don’t like your tickets, to exit and go back into it.

It’s hilarious to me that some people are complaining that people are whatever about Mendez missing shows, yet when others miss shows people have their torches out. Nobody has even been outright rude about Mendez missing performances lol
