You can tell from the faux-serious wording of SonheimFan's original post that he's joking. It made me laugh! Come on, he placed Spiderman's score as "one of the finest scores written for the American musical theatre.."
I too am "shocked and saddened"...that this Spiderman musical is an actual show that is making a ton of money. Maybe one day someone will write a great (or even good, hell even passable) superhero musical- but Bono is not that someone and Spiderman is not that show.

Posted: 5/7/12 at 7:42amdramamam611 - I agree with you 100% on this one. The only reason I would have even thought of going to see this was because I really like Bono/U2. I was incredibly disappointed with the music, found it incredibly dull. Guess it shows that most "pop/rock" stars can't write for the Broadway stage. (Paul Simon was another example)
