I am creating a variety show and I am trying to come up with a lot of adult and child duets. So far I have some from Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Come someone help me think of more?

The King and I - Getting to Know You (you can make it into a duet)
Billy Elliot - The Letter

and I'm not sure if Caroline, or Change/The Secret Garden have a adult/child duet, but I'm sure they do.

There's a great number from Cole Porter's Panama Hattie called "Let's Be Buddies." It was the hit of the show -- and I'm sure relatively few people know of it today.

"Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney could actually work.

"Why Don't You Feel Alright for the rest of your life?" - Falsettos
"I heard someone crying" - Secret Garden
"Gary Indiana" - Music Man
"Worlds Apart, Muddy Waters, River in the Rain" - Big River (Huck is supposed to be a child)
"I'd Do Anything" - Oliver
"What Did I Ever See in Him?" - Bye Bye Birdie (15 year old and adult)
"Not While I'm Around" - Sweeney (He's supposed to be young)

Possibly some songs from "Urinetown," if Little Sally is cast with the age gap.

"Wick," from The Secret Garden possibly; Dickon's often played by an adult.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

"I Whistle A Happy Tune" from "The King and I" could be a duet

No one is Alone isn't a duet...but I'm sure you could make it one.
