BWW said it was updating live but it's been 45 minutes and there have been no updates.
Any word on winners yet?
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

They couldn't do any better when selecting the interviewers on the Red Carpet? Who the heck are Phillip and Marabell from The Broadway Channel ? They are just terrible. Jim Caruso is well, Jim Caruso. A triple bomb-cast.
I've seen better amateur video interviews here on BW !
Is it bad that my first thought was "BWW screwed up. Book of Mormon and See Rock City are next to each other on the list, and they bolded the wrong one."?
I am just so surprised that it won music and lyrics, yet lost book, which is the award it is basically guaranteed to win at the Tonys.
There haven't been any further updates in the past 45 minutes. What other winners have been trophied?

Based on Theater Mania's tweets, it appears as though some of the special awards were given out in the past 45 minutes or so.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

If I were watching these live I may have shut them off by now.
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
While I'm not surprised at all that Brian Bedford won, I wish it had gone to either Christian Borle for Peter and the Starcatcher or Zachary Qunito for Angels in America.
Yay Brian Bedford! I wish he was in this more appropriate category for the Tonys.
