I've been looking forward to Roger's appearance since it was first announced over a month ago. I can't wait! Love Desperate Housewives and adore Roger Bart - what could be better?
Only an hour and a half to go!

"If you start from a place of joy and charm, you can get away with a lot in the second act. It may be that that's my life. I'm not sure."
~Roger Bart
Oh he was so adorable! I love him so much. I thought I read somewhere that he was to appear in three episodes, but I hope he sticks around longer. Actually, no, scratch that - I just want him back on Broadway so I can see him in person again.

Finally he's playing a straight guy! He always plays the most adorable gay guys.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

I absolutely can't believe his character's going for a second date with Bree. If I were him I'd run away screaming. But hey, it's Desperate Housewives- who says anything needs to make sense?
Aww he was so cute again and then he shot his toe off and I was like "oh no!!". Did anyone else think he was a little creepy at the end though? lol. Wow.
"I'm a pretty girl, mama." -Penny Lou Pingleton, Hairspray
"You like football, Ed?" "Yeah..." "Good. Me too." -Chad & 'Ed', All Shook Up
Oh God...as much as I love him, he scared me at the end. I was feeling bad for him up until he freaked out at Bree, screaming, "I DON'T NEED YOU!!!!"....was very creeped out by this. But let's back up: he was such a gentleman in the beginning of the episode! With the opening of the car door and the helping her out of the car....*happy sigh*. The picnic...adorable, though a bit creepy. I was literally thinking, "Wow, he gets shot with the gun he gave her....that SUCKS!". Then, later: "He shot himself because he was thinking with his penis. How typically male."
OH! Anyone catch the Producers reference???!!!!
George: What is that perfume you're wearing? Bree: Oh, me? I'm not wearing any perfume... George: Really? Because you smell AMAZING!
That had me giggling moronically like the little fangirl I am ^____^.
AH. Roger in a hospital bed....this was just....*covers face*. And he was breaking my heart when he was talking about how pathetic he was....as I said, I completely felt sorry for him until he freaked out.
And then, the end of the episode. The minute I saw him put the tape in the VCR, I thought, "NO. NOOOO NO NO NONO!!!!!!!! George...don't be creepy. Don't be creepy!!". And it did indeed turn out to be what I thought it would: the surveillance tape from the pharmacy of when Bree first asked him out. My reaction?
"Crap.. He's a stalker. CRAAAAP."
o.o; Bothersome much?
...okay, I still feel bad for George. He needs love...that's so depressing.
I think there may just be a Roger sex scene next week...either that or a display of extreme violence o.O. Either way, I can't wait.
Roger Bart on basic cable...life is too good sometimes.
can someone give me a synopsis of what happened tonight? I forgot to tape it before I went out.
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
I was watching with my roommates and they told me my face got the reddest it's ever been! Oh Roger... why is your character so creepy? I was fine until the gun, then it just went downhill from there...
Oh well, he's still adorable and I'm so glad I can see Roger in something new.
And I did catch the Producers reference - I kept myself from saying anything because I knew my roomies would throw me looks of disdain.

His face was even redder, if you can believe it, when I saw him in The Producers as Leo...he looked like a tomato (even from the balcony) when he went into the hysterics! Too funny!!!!
I'm so glad Roger Bart is getting the attention he deserves from Desperate Housewives. He just better not stray away from Broadway now . Also, Eva Longoria is HOT!!
