James Snyder is apparently out of today's matinee and also missed Wednesday's matinee as well. He's been out at least 5 other times in the past 5 weeks, a lot of which were matinees on 2-show days. That's a lot of absences for the lead during Tony season. I have not seen the show -- is his part really demanding, or does he have some other obligation during the day?

I would have loved to see Andrew Call as Cry-baby before he left, but perhaps he is out and preparing for the Tony performance. I've seen it twice and my friends seen it three times and we've both only seen him. AS a sidebar, he has gotten A LOT better. I really enjoy his performance now.

I really don't understand why people who hate the show continue to post about it, but that's their prerogative...
As for Snyder everytime I've seen the show he's been on (two times were matinées). I agree he might be doing something for the Tony performance but maybe he's been sick? Updated On: 6/14/08 at 02:30 PM
He's been there both times I've seen the show. From what I've heard hes been pretty sick lately. He hasn't been coming to softball either....at least not the past few games.
You yourself say you haven't seen the show, so it's not like you have consistently paid your money and missed him, yet you seem to know his work record intimately. Perhaps he's avoiding creepy stalkers.
After seeing James Snyder in "She's the Man" I actually think he'd be a fantastic Baldwin. I much prefer Christopher Hanke but I think James could have been lovely as well and I think he would fit the part a little better than his current role.
