You know what I like about Sutton, besides her talent? She doesn't put on 5,000 pounds of makeup and shower herself with $500 outfits (unless of course she is at an awards show). In other words, she doesn't flaunt herself around like some uptight snob. From many accounts I've heard, she is a genuinely nice person.

She is really nice. When I went and saw Little Women in NC, she actually had her boyfriend wait outside for her, so she could go in and say hi to all of us that were standing there. Really sweet girl.

Sutton is amazingly talented and I adore her voice. While she may not be the most gorgeous person to ever walk the planet, she is certainly very attractive. I think the best word to describe her is "adorable." She is extremely nice and also very funny in person.
"Blow out the candles, Robert, and make a wish. Want something. Want something."
I think I've had about enough of all the stupid ridicule and rudeness that takes place on here...
Or maybe I am just having a bad day, but it's really starting to bug me. I think she is a wonderfully talented actress, pretty, down to earth and an absolute gem of a person. If you are jealous of her, shut up and keep it to yourself.
Ah- the lovely Miss Sutton Foster...I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions...but I, for one, believe that Sutton is one of the most talented people on a Broadway stage right now. She leaves me in awe each time I watch her perform. She has such fantastic stage presence and an incredible amount of talent. I don't really see how anyone couldn't like her- but again...everyone is entitled to their opinions.
Besides the fact that she is amazingly talented...she is possibly the kindest person I have ever met. She treats her fans as though they were friends...and is so down-to-earth. As many others said, she always takes the time to meet and greet her fans. She is wonderful. I just adore her and admire her so much for both her talent and her attitude.
Also- I don't think it is fair to judge a performer by a short clip on a website. Its even worse though, to judge a performer on how good (or bad) looking they are. Are you trying to tell me that Ethel Merman was gorgeous? How about Mary Martin? And yet they are Broadway legends...
So- yes...think what you may, but I stand firm in my belief that Sutton is one of the most talented performers on Broadway.
OMG! I didn't mean for all those pics to be posted!!! Just check out some of Sutton Foster's pics on her sites. She has the potential to look glamourous.

My opinion originally is that Sutton was a Susan (Egan) knockoff... I still think Susan should have been Millie but hey... I know she was but during the last months of the show.
Bronxbound- I have seen Sutton Foster in "Millie" and have heard her on the Little Women Website. She was fabulous as Millie, and every time I saw her in "Millie" she was as fresh as the first time I saw her. I agree that she doesn't sound great on the "Little Women" website, so perhaps you ought to listen to the "TMM" OBCR. And as for her not being attractive- no, she's not gorgeous, but she did have a cuteness about her in "Millie." Frankly, I find Idina Menzel much more difficult to look at.

Since the majority of people here like her i feel a little better admiting this!
I saw her in Millie and thought she was as cute as a button! Sure she's a little gangly and akward but so am I! She's a role model to gangly, akward people everywhere!!
Here's the embarrassing part. I was noticing that she has the coolest nose!! I was like "I need that nose!!!" I love it! lol
Oh! And her boyfriend is so adorable too! They're just akward enough to be normal and charming!
What is it about Lucy?? I know she's a bitch, and yet I want to be her...

I love Sutton even more after seeing the video clip! She's adorable, so talented, and from what I hear, was a powerhouse in Millie. Kicking myself for not catching her in it...
I love her version of I Want to Go to Hollywood on the Maury Yeston cd.
ME TOO!!!!! I love that CD in general but she was soo great in it!

Ive also seen Little Women which i would HIghly recomend..and went to her concert! I could listen to her sing the phonebook and it would be amazing. She is the sweetes t person you could ever meet and is so down to earth and real.

Ah, she seriously is one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She's so sweet. I adore her. And I don't understand how her voice could ever be described as screeching or nasal. It is Broadway, yes. Call me crazy, but I like Broadway voices, and I think you'll run into many... er, Broadway fans who feel the same.
