Have fun!!! Lachanze was spot on on Wednesday, as I'm sure she will be again!
"We don't value the lily less for not being made of flint and built to last. Life's bounty is in it's flow, later is too late. Where is the song when it's been sung, the dance when it's been danced? It's only we humans who want to own the future too."
- Tom Stoppard, Shipwreck
She is truly phenomenal. I have not put down the cast recording since I bought it. "I'm Here" is so beautiful.

That was my favorite show from my trip last week...LaChanze turns in an absolutely brilliant performance. Elisabeth Withers-Mendes and Felicia Fields are amazing as well..enjoy it!
"I love acting. It is so much more real than life." Oscar Wilde "After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." Aldous Huxley
I'm so sorry Elphaba. I hope you get another opportunity to see the show. I really enjoyed myself. TCP was a pretty and moving show. The cast is dripping with talent and they gave every ounce of their energy to the audience on Sunday. It's fast paced, never boring and I would see it again. Felicia P. Fields, Kingsley Leggs, Elisabeth Withers-Mendes, Brandon Victor Dixon, Darlesia Cearcy, Krishn Marcano and especially LaCanze all gave stellar performances. I'm listening to the recording on my iTunes right now. The Good Lord Works In Mysterious Ways!
" ...the happiness in the tune convinces me that I'm not afraid."
Seeing The Color Purple on Saturday night. Very excited. I've seen LaChanze now in Baby at Papermill, Dessa Rose and can't wait to see her this weekend. There was a meet and greet at Lincoln Center that I went to last year. She was very gracious and friendly, an extra special performer.
