Sorry to bump this again, but I realized that I was silly and forgot to ask where you line up for this rush. Just right outside the door of the theatre? Chances are, I'll be first on line when I rush, so I won't see a group of people already there. Thanks again for all the helpful info :)

I'm going to attempt to rush this on Saturday, does anyone know how early I should try to get there? I'm not sure how crowded they usually are on Saturdays, considering it's a 2-show day, and want to prepare accordingly. Thanks!
As you can see earlier in this thread, I asked for information about the rush and subsequently gave it a try for myself. I went on a Wednesday (like a Saturday in that it's a two-show day, but unlike Saturday in that it probably is less busy) but I got there right around 8:00 (like 7:50) and was about ninth on line. The line from there wrapped around the block all the way to the stagedoor on 53rd. I was easily able to get three rush tickets in the front row center for that evening's performance. My advice would be to be open for both show's if you can, and, if you want to be absolutely guaranteed, get there around 7:00, and probably no later than 8:00. The front row was a great view. I missed perhaps one or two tiny things from the first row, and everything seems to be staged either downstage center or upstage on a platform, so the view is fine. By the way, I recognized a lot of people from towards the end of the line sitting at the rear orchestra in the rush loser seats, so those seem to be pretty easy to get as well. Hope this helps!

I've rushed 7 times, spanning from the first week to recently and have never had to show up earlier than 8AM. I always prefer that there are at least 2 people ahead of me because the seats are from side to side.
Yupp, so the line starts from the right side doors, towards the Ed Sullivan theater, then wraps around the corner if it gets too long, even though in the past few months, it's never been packed enough to wrap around the corner. If anyone is having second doubts about this show, just go and see it! It is one of the most fun times I have had and Raven Symone is truly amazing in the role!
