So you walk out on Dance of the Vampires? obviously not a crawford fan. Ok the show was not that great corney, but I would not walk out on any play. It is rude to the actors. I even sat sick during Phantom and that was a great musical with Michael but the AC broke in the Majestic and we were all sick from the heat it was July and hot.
Hopefully, you were not referring to me. My wife & I loved DOTV. If my wife & I do not like something (very rare) we wait until intermission & do not return. This is what I mean by walking out Hope this clears up any confusion.
The only show I ever walked out on (at intermission) was Hal Holbrook's tribute to Mark Twain (I can't remember the exact title). I was tempted to leave during Cats and Cabaret, but didn't.
I walked out on Little Shop of Horrors. Actually 1/2 of the audience did. It was a high school production. The mics were off, the cast was weak, Audrey couldn't act, the plant's mouth moved when the voice didn't speak. We all nicknamed it "Little Show of Horrors"
