Hey, sorry if these have been answered before, I searched and couldn't find anything.
I have never been to any of these theaters before, so I'm not sure what the best way to get seats, or more specifically get tickets, to any of these shows are:
The Prom - Longacre
Beetlejuice - Winter Garden
Tootsie - Marquis
Hadestown - Walter Kerr
Frozen - St. James
I have heard that the balcony level for the Walter Kerr is pretty high, so I was leaning towards orchestra or mezz for Hadestown. I was also going to hold off on buying tickets to The Prom for awhile because god knows it will have closed before I get there. I was simply going to grab tickets once they hit BroadwayBox, unless there is a better way I should go about that. It's one of my more anticipated shows so I'd be willing to pay a bit more for better seats, however. I'm also just waiting for discount codes to start popping up for Hadestown, Tootsie, and Beetlejuice since they are newer, but I'd like to know more about the sightlines for those theatres so I know what seats to grab.
Besides that, I'm sort of clueless. If anyone has any advice for seating in these theatres/shows then I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks yall :)
For Frozen I would definitely get front mezzanine. Without giving too much away, you will get a much broader scope and view of the magic and effects from the mezzanine as opposed to the orchestra!

I've not sat in the Kerr yet but having seen Hadestown, the only thing I'd recommend is sitting a little ways back. I was five rows from the stage at the national and you lose the effect of some of the bigger numbers. Where in the theatre doesn't matter too much, I have a slight preference towards the left. They play to all sides pretty equally but the left gets some great moments.
And apparently the code NYTW gives you $40 off for Hadestown
For me, any seat in the Longacre is good, except the rear balcony. Also there is a bar in front of the first row of the balcony, but if you sit up the view is good!
I agree with ethan231h - most anything in the Longacre is good. But best place to see THE PROM is front row mezz. I really hope you see it - it's really a funny, touching and all-around entertaining show.
