My parents are helping me out with rent and clothes this Christmas (poor NYC grad student), so I didn't get much in the way of gifts. But I did get the DVDs of Anastasia and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, which is kind of Broadway-ish.
I did, however, raid my parents' record collection and came up with the following to take back to my apartment:
SOUTH PACIFIC OBC FIDDLER OBC HAIR OBC THE PAJAMA GAME OBC PORGY AND BESS OBC THE SOUND OF MUSIC OBC GEORGE M OBC CAMELOT OBC HELLO DOLLY OBC FUNNY GIRL OBC FIORELLO OBC CAROUSEL OST ANNIE OST
And WEST SIDE STORY, which I already have, but theirs is in better condition.
Oh, and something I passed on: "A Brilliant New Recording of Rodgers' and Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! with Jon Raitt and Florence Henderson."

Stee -- a windowcard is a 14x22 poster, usually for a Broadway show. 14x22 is the standard size for theater posters, and they're usually printed on a lightweight cardstock.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
I'm old, so I don't get much in the way of gifts anymore.
The following I got from my little brother. Today is also my birthday, so some of this was birthday and some of it was Christmas, but since we living in different states it was shipped to me via amazon.com and not really demarcated for the occasion:
Sonheim on Music Hair Revival Cast Recording Make Me a Song Cast Recording
I also had a bunch of gift cards left in my wallet from LAST Christmas, so I used those to buy gifts for myself including:
Into the Woods DVD Godspell DVD Hello, Dolly! DVD
I received an iTunes gift card from a student which I am using to purchase:
The Story of My Life Cast Recording The Adding Machine Cast Recording Assassins Revival Cast Recording
I received an Amazon.com gift card from my boss which I will probably use to buy another yet to be decided movie musical DVD.
"You just can't win. Ever. Look at the bright side, at least you are not stuck in First Wives Club: The Musical. That would really suck. "

A book on set design, the librettos to four Sondheim shows (and another book is still in the mail), Tickets to Cats and Drowsy Chaperone (The former is another touring production in Australia, the latter has only just made it to Oz) as well as plenty of money to buy cast albums.
I got the Playbill Yearbook too, and had no idea it had as much information as it did. I never got one before, because I thought it was just new shows. But, it's a great reference with all the listings of cast changes and understudies. Very well put together!
