OMG it was absolutely wonderful, it was at a small intimate theatre and you were right their in the action the entire time. Betsy Morgan and Josh Davis(they played cathy and jamie) were amazing they were sooooo good. The best part for me though was meeting both of them, they were so nice...in fact it was one the best experiences of my life...renthead why do you ask?
i saw it and became good friends with the cast, we got to go to the cast party, and they gave us comp. tix to the last performance, and to see jrb. The tix were 60 bucks a piece, and we got two. I love them..haha I wish they were able to make a cd or something. Betsy Morgan and Josh Davis were phenomenal and honestly Betsy was the best i had ever heard do that role.

I LOVED "The Last 5 Years" at Everyman. The performances were excellent and I couldn't get over how cool the set was. The overall production was great!
I really, really, really, REALLY, wanted to see "tick, tick...BOOM!" (I saw the Mobtown Players' production of "Hedwig" last year) but unfortunately I found out too late. I expected Mobtown would do another small musical and that was the only that came to mind after "TL5Y".
"Everybody has a different idea of love. One girl I know said, 'I knew he loved me when he didn't come in my mouth.'" ~ Andy Warhol
It was another little gem, with a rockin' band (I don't know where these low-budget productions get such great musicians). Evan Shyer, who was so good in the Spotlighter's production of "Songs for a New World", was a magnificent Johnathan. And Shelley Work (Yitzhak from Mobtown's "Hedwig") was a great Susan and created very funny multiple roles.
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
I saw both L5Y and ttb in Baltimore recently. I thought L5Y was incredible, and both actors were amazing. As for ttb, I really liked Evan's Jonathan, but I didn't enjoy the other two. I didn't really find the direction to be that great either, but I liked Evan's performance enough that it made up for it. He's in The Shape of Things right now at Silver Spring Stage, if anyone is in the area. I'm in the crew. I think it's a really great production.
What happened to Andrae?
Fan: Oh my god! You're, like, standing right there and, like, looking right at me and, like, oh my god!
Anthony Rapp: Yes, that's a pretty accurate discription of reality.
Oh where was it? Oh yes, and I have been reminded to plug The Shape of Things at Silver Spring Stage to anyone in the area. Good stuff.
