Pab, you took the words right out of my mouth. I've been a fan of WW since the beginning and this season is much better than last years. Sorry to burst Kristin's fans but it has nothing to do with her being cast in the show. She has a very small role and has only been on a few episodes. As far as the ratings go, they're up but not because of her appearances. Most people in the country, and, I'd wager, most WW fans don't even know who she is.

please...

she was sent from heaven to make people watch the West Wing, since Lily Tomlin didn't do the trick!

You know, the immature spite here sometimes makes me want to scream. It's one thing to debunk the "Chenoweth drives up ratings" theory- that's a fact-based thing. But do certain users here just click on any thread with her name in the subject line just to malign her? Get some perspective, you pricks.

plum, that comment was painfully obvious and a bit forced. perhaps k-cho can help you with the delivery.

Good lord, the idea of Chenowith chirping "Get some perspective, you pricks!" kind of gives me an anyuerism.

Look, I love Kristin as much as the next person...but even she can't save WW.

It's sucked since Sorkin left. Last season was bad and, season 6 has led us from Bad to Worse.

How dare you people think that Krsiten has nothing to do with the success of this show. Are you Broadway supporters?

And this thread was not just started because it's Kristne. It was started cause she is a becaon of light for the wayward and lost.

Take that pagans.

Okay, I have a question...

What is with all this "pagan" ****? Are you afraid of Pagans or something?

It's sarcasm, I'm pretty sure. And BS. Don't take Tuttle too seriously.

Okay, it's possible that Kristin has helped boost ratings a little. I'm not sure it's true, but it's possible. I think my objection to this thread was more because it was titled "Kristin saves 'west wing'", thus implying that without her, it would not have survived, which I seriously doubt.
Anyway, that's my opinion, take it for what you will. Back to my French paper.

the posters that are wasting there time by constantly posting:
"i hate to burst your bubble but Kristin wasn't on last night, she had nothing to do with West Wing winning it's time slot, blah, blah, blah. . ." can just put their pins back in their pockets. The jokes on YOU.
Have you ever heard of sarcasm? This one went over all of your heads. LOL

well, mr. marquise, i for one am shocked and offended that sarcasm is being practiced on this baord without the use of the usi (universal sarcasm indicator) as agreed to and codified in the global message board pact of '02 section five paragraph six. is it any wonder why the world hates americans when we so callously toss aside international treaties like this? for shame, all of you.

Wow, okay, if I missed the sarcasm, sorry. But I don't think all the posts were in gest, even if the original one was. Sometimes sarcasm in real life goes over my head, so it's rough to tell on the board.
Sorry.
Okay wow, just re-read it. I can't believe I missed the sarcasm. Too much coffee, not enough sleep.

Poor Jimmy Smits... upstaged by Kristin.
Call me crazy, but who says The West Wing is saved? It's winning a timeslot with virtually no competition. It lost out during sweeps week to CBS disaster movie, it's opening show LAX is getting cancelled and ABC is going to put Alias up against it.
hmmmm....Jennifer Garner or Kristin Chenoweth...

and how do we know Chenoweth is a Republican?

Well, supposedly she talks a lot about being a good Christian or whatever, which personally offends some board members here even though I've never heard of her being the annoying evangelical type saying "You should be Christian, too."

I find it ridiculous to say that Kristin saved a show. She's a good performer, but no one's presence can save a show. West Wing has great writing and great performances. That is what "saved" the show, if, indeed, it was in any trouble at all.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Someone should really call Entertainment Weekly because there's an article about the improvement on The West Wing...but they left Kristin's name out of the article.

In the first episode she was in, I was half expecting her to start singing "Popular" to Toby.
