"...But Kungurtseva reels off multiple fouettes and the tape is stopped so she can take a bow. The Jester, an abomination introduced to Swan Lake in Soviet times, extorts applause from the audience. The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending. The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."

I don't know if I could totally say inspiring but definitely touching and a little inspiring = Floyd Collins.

Also Once On This Island's message is inspiring.

Be the change you want in the world....

Oh, Rent, by far. Wicked has a great message, as does Les Miz.

Edit: I'm not saying this to annoy people, but I think Seussical does too. The whole "a person's a person no matter how small" can get annoying, but it means so much in real life. Updated On: 7/10/05 at 10:37 AM

"No two shows are alike in the making. Each show is a living piece of your life in a small unreal world with its own character and integrity; its own new set of memorable experiences and incredible happenings. You begin to love and adapt to its strangeness. Dreams harden into substance. Values come into focus. You wish it would never end. The dream world vanishes like mist before a rising sun; part of you vanishes with it. And back you land in the real world with a thud- fogged, uneasy, jittery, difficult to get along with. There is only one cure. A new show. A new, small unreal world; new visions, experiences, incredible happenings. Again you love it, adapt to it, wish it would never end. But end it does. Another part of you vanishes. That's show business."-Anonymous

Wicked and the Lion King inspired me. But, Spamalot and The Producers just made me feel good at the end.

Hairspray, Wicked, Les Miz. Although I personally think Les Miz could make people depressed/suicidal more easily considering more than half the whole audience leaves sobbing at the end of itre: Inspiring Musicals
