The staging I have seen was very minimal which I think is how it was meant to be. It is a beautiful show. I love the music!

I didn't think Phantom was all that exciting. But it was nice to see it at a shorter length. See Ka or O. They are amazing. Danny Gans is also a really fun show and totally worth the money. I agree with seeing the broadway musicals on Broadway. I live in Vegas and I much prefer NY.

That was one of my favorite backstage videos ever. I love the cast and their casualness. I need to go back to NY and see it again. Damn the pregnancy! BTW is Groff gay?

I sat front row dead center and it was amazing to be that close and involved in the action. I can only imagine that being onstage is even better.

I am going from Dec 18-21 and staying at the portland square hotel on 47th between 6th and 7th for $137 a night. I have stayed there before and enjoyed it. It's tiny, but clean and nice and convenient as hell. And it's not a shared bathroom!

Wow. I saw the show in NY and I saw the tour in LA. I thought Norbert was even better, funnier and crazier in the tour. He seemed to be able to go even further with his jokes and antics. I loved it. Maybe he was tired and his maybe his voice was tired in Texas I met him at the stagedoor after the show and he didn't speak. He was on vocal rest. He signed for everyone and took great pictures and was very sweet. I got two pix and he didn't have e strange face.

Also with stage directions you have to consider what can actually be done in the theatre. In some cases you can't follow them.
