Posted: 5/25/04 at 3:39pmIn over 30 years of theatregoing (close to 1000 shows), nothing I have ever seen even comes close to Holliday's performance in "Dreamgirls" -- simply miraculous. 22 years later I still haven't gotten over it and still get goosebumps when I think of it.

I'd also love to see the OBC of Rent, and Rachel York as Lilli Vanessi. I have the PBS broadcast of her in the show on DVD, but I'd be great to see her live.

Colm Wilkenson as Phantom in "Phantom of the Opeara"
Colleen Sexton as Lucy in "Jekyll and Hyde" (she was good, after all -- although the rest of the recording left much to be desired)

Broadwaysweetheart: Leslie Uggams is still appearing in Thoroughly Modern Millie until the final performance, June 20. She is terrific! What a voice! And in the final scene when she dresses as a young modern she is absolutly adorable!
