Anyone done Come From Away rush recently? I'm going 10/9 and wanted to get an idea of line. I know Waitress has been a bigger line than when I rushed it pre-COVID. Not sure if pro shot is helping or hurting CFA in-person rush.

I did rush for CFA last Wednesday. I arrived around 8:40 and was the second person in line. The third person didn't arrive until about 9:25. By 10:00, there were eight or nine people in line. I got tickets for row L right in the centre for $38, and the show was AMAZING.

Awesome thank you! I've heard crazy things about Waitress's rush line so had to check. I'm going Saturday so I think I'll be fine! Yeah- I've been avoiding the proshot so I can see it on Broadway first of course!

Any info from your line?  Arrival?  Seat location?

Hi I’m rushing Sunday 17 for CFA because waitress was to much. What was your experience rushing Saturday was it 1 or 2 tickets?

CFA is 2 tix as most rush is. I believe the current Waitress rush is the only single ticket per person General Rush in-person line at the moment and might be the only one for a number of years ( maybe Pippin the last 1-per General Rush ).

I believe their box office doesn't open until noon on Sundays, so the rush line typically doesn't get long until later.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Hi! I rushed on Sunday, September 26. I got there at approximately 11:15 pm (box opens at 11 on Sundays) for a 1pm show and ended up with two partial view seats in Row C on the right orchestra. There was a giant tree root in front of us, but I think it’s safe to say we saw about 95% of the action on stage, with the only real hinderance being the right side band members.

Hope this helps!

Hey — is it def 11am on Sundays? That’s what the website says as well.I’m outside (8:30am no one here) and their building says 12pm. Not sure which to believe

Because their show for today is at 1pm, the box office has been opening up earlier on Sundays.

Just posted on another thread as well, but if anyone is looking for a rush update, I was rushing Company Friday Nov 19 right next door to Come From Away and asked the front of the line when they arrived- first person arrived at 8:45, and the second group arrived around 9:15.

Update Friday 12/16: Arrived a little after 8am to find only 1 person in line. A couple others joined at about 9:00, and maybe 4 more at 9:30.

I don’t think the pro shot is changing much with attendance. Not a lot of people have Apple TV. As for rush tickets, I don’t think in person rush is necessary. The tickets are sold online right before the show at the same price.

I assume you meant Thursday, right?

What seats did you ( and #1 ) end up with?

I've been saying this for months. It has low visibility on the app which means you have to look for it (which involves a lot of scrolling). Apple is reportedly satisfied with the numbers... but considering how much money Apple makes in general, it's anyone's guess what that means.

I walked up on Tuesday at around 4pm and got a single rush seat in the front row, all the way on the side.

Has anyone rushed on a weekend recently? Thinking of going Saturday and trying for the matinee.

I happened to see it this weekend. My bus got into NYC around 1:35pm this Saturday and I was able to make it to the theater a little after 2pm. Went to the box office and asked if they had any rush tickets left and was able to get a seat in the first row to the farthest left. My view was obstructed for a tiny bit but I don't feel like I missed anything really.

Not sure if this was a fluke but you might be able to go really close to showtime!  I've found it doesn't hurt to ask the box office if there's any rush tickets regardless of time.  You might get lucky!

I want to ask people who’ve already done this if they can give me some advice.

I’m going to enter the lottery in a week or two for a Wednesday performance.

I’m doing it on behalf of a couple older friends of mine who are not computer savvy. The husband wants me to do this for the wife as a surprise birthday present. She’s wanted very much to see the show.

Obviously if they don’t win the digital lottery tickets he will then go ahead and buy full price. But they are living on Social Security and I would like to try to help them save some money.

He asked for my help to begin with because he doesn’t want these tickets on his credit card, where she will figure out that he purchased them.

Are the tickets emailed to the winner, or can they be picked up at the box office?

I just don’t want them to have any trouble picking them up if I’m not with them in person.

At no time should anyone pay full price for this show. It's very rarely more than half-sold, and between rush, lottery, tkts, and discounts, there is no reason to pay full price.

You’re absolutely right.

I think I would advise him to just take her there snd get rush at the box office. Surely they’d have some for a Wednesday matinee.

That is if he doesn’t win the lottery.

But my question still remains if he’d have a hard time picking them up if I actually am the name on the credit card.

This is not clarified in their FAQ.

For what it's worth, I won the Company lottery the other day, which uses the same lottery provider (Telecharge/Social Toaster), and my tickets were emailed after I filled out the purchase form. I don't think they even gave me the option to get physical ones.
