They were the "reserved" seats on the right side (when facing the stage) but more in the shade, right in the front. It was very nice and I didn't have to get there until 12:15! (but I went early to say hi to my fellow BWWers!)

The lack of sleep (4 hours does that to you) and the 3 hours spent just sitting there waiting for 12:30 to come was TOTALLY worth it. I won't go into details as everyone else has covered it beautifully, but it was an experience I will always love and remember. Even the craziness as they were all leaving was interesting and funny, and it was so amazing to see how wonderful the cast is as a group, as performers and most importantly as people
Just had to add in my two cents...I had a blast!! I loved the sound check...especially when Rosario's mom had us sing Seasons of Love and no one could care the tune LOL. I also loved it when she called us the true fans for coming to sound check! The link here is to a couple photos I have...beware, they were from my phone that I downloaded directly onto the computer, so they are few and kinda crappy...but expect like 40 more to be added soon...but enjoy now...
Also, I found it funny that when Christopher Sieber showed up, no one really seemed to know who he was, he was just chilling by the side of the stage, so I went up to him and he graciously got a picture with me!
Sponsor me as I walk the Philadelphia AIDS Walk - Sunday, October 16, 2011. Many of our friends, family and neighbors are in desperate need of health care services and other life-saving programs, but with cutbacks in government dollars , these programs are often under-funded. Now, more than ever, your donations are needed to support organizations providing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention education, counseling and testing and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Okay, just got back from a very hot day, but like everyone else said, it was soo worth it!
We had a bunch of seats right in the front on like the left by the corner of the stage. I got mad when everyone just decided to stand a couple feet in front of me, but thank goodness short little me got to be in the front(thanks guys!)
Yes, very very hot. I fortunately had a fan sprayer which helped a little but not much. Anyway, the performances were great. Just realizing I am watching the Rent Cast perform live...I just couldn't believe it. Like others said, they looked really into it and liek they were having fun and loving the crowd. Everyone else came down a bit to watch Idina and Tracie. GREAT job. Again, hearing Idina sing that last improved "Leave Me"...awesome.
And I'm sure most of you saw on the today show, Adam's hair looks great and it was so great seeing him up close, the closest I've been in the past was the balcony of Aida.
Stage door...obviously crazy. I barely saw Wilson or Taye, which is odd since...well I'll get into that in a minute...but I did see Adam signing for a bit, could not get that close but enjoyed watching...kept running around, trying to get close...finally realized Anthony was signing, still pretty far, and I dunno, I think maybe Idina started signing and ppl ran to her, but somehow I ended right in the front and talked to Anthony...met him briefly at the Rent set before, if he didn't remember me there, I think he at least remembered the PM I sent him after b/c he knew it when I mentioned it. I said we missed him posting here, and he said he misses it too. Err, something like that.
Then a small funny story...Elphie...yeah I talked to Deb and Lee and apparently you were right near me, and if you were near Anthony we def were right there I have absolutely no clue how I lost all of you. Oops. Really would have helped if I didn't leave my cell in teh car..
Anywayz, great great day, more excited for movie!

Getting up at the buttcrack of dawn to go see the Today Show, or rather hear the Today SHow since I couldn't see anything, then go sit in Bryant Park for 3 1/2 hours was so worth it. I couldn't believe I was seeing the original cast of Rent, plus two amazing newcomers. They all sounded amazing. "Take Me or Leave Me" was AWESOME.
I didn't get to meet any of the cast afterwards, but beggars can't be choosers. At least I got to see them, which was an azaming enough experience. I almost got to meet Anthony, he was standing right near me when they decided to move the barricades again, which propelled him back to the other end of the line, and then he had to leave. Disappointing, but I'm not going to complain. Rosario's mom is hysterical. It was so funny, after they finished SOL for the soundcheck, Rosario's mom had the audience singing for the cast. And then everybody kinda messed up after a while. I left after Felicia Finley sang. I wanted to stay for the rest, but it was toooo hot. Again, it was worth it because I had such a great time.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Oh haha sorry I didn't make it clear...it was odd I didn't see Wilson b/c I was w/ Emcee, Thenadier, ElphieDefiesGravity, ZippyJen, etc. and lost them all somehow but apparently we were all right near each other, so it makes it odd that they all got Wilson but I didn't see him. Must have been behind some taller people I suppose.

So lots of people have said that the cast was giving interviews prior to the performance in that little curtained off area behind the stage. Did anybody get a look to see what programs were there so we can check out our fav. entertainment programs. In one pic I saw Rosario talking to someone with an E. channel microphone, but that was it.
I dunno, maybe she'll be on the E! News Show @ 7:00? I didn't see them doing intervies or anything.

EDIT: Nevermind. Very short clip of them singing, and then Taye and Idina talking about how they never fight.
