Valjean: Alfie Boe or Ramin Karimloo (he keeps saying he wants to make his Broadway debut!) Javert: Andrew Varela! Fantine: as I said-Sierra Boggess"
I'd love for Sierra Boggess to play Fantine in this revival after doing it in the West End. Karimloo would be amazing, but I heard somewhere that he's only interested in doing the Toronto revival because he's from Canada. Brian d'Arcy James would be amazing as Jean Valjean. Marc Kudish would be terrific as Javert. I'd like to see Melissa O'Neil, who will play Eponine in that production, transfer to this Broadway revival.
If they keep opening and closing they can get more Tonys
"All our dreams can come true -- if we have the courage to pursue them." -- Walt Disney
We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
Some of my other choices would be Erin Mackey as Cosette, Daniel Radcliffe or Aaron Tveit as Marius (if he wasn't busy with his new TV show), Patti Lupone or Bernadette Peters as Madame Thenardier, and Terence Mann or John Dossett as Monsieur Thenardier.
"This show needs to be shelved for at least 20 years. Enough is enough."
'Gypsy' and 'La Cage aux Folles' were not shelved for a long time.
"Could Sam Barks come and make her Broadway debut as Eponine??"
Rumor has it that Mackintosh already wants her to play Nancy in both a Broadway revival and new film adaptation of 'Oliver!'
Anneleise van der Pol would also be wonderful as Eponine, but according to a firend of her's she's very picky about what musicals she likes to do. She doesn't like to perform in shows we'd expect her to do.
