Mincemeat is terrific and not "too British". Some of the lyrics go by really fast so you miss some of the word play - and there is a lot of word play.
But the theatre is small - it's one price for all seats, varied by the day. Mondays are the least expensive and pretty much sold out. I have not sat in the Circle, where seats seem to be available on other days, but I have read some not-great things about seating room and height.

Worthington-Cox also was not on as Natalie today per @westendcovers on Twitter.
The filming must have been pretty intense and Worthington-Cox has been missing performances the last few weeks, although Lizzie Parker is reported to be very very good as Natalie.
I think there is great musical potential for A Confederacy of Dunces, with a mix of styles that reflects the New Orleans setting. Of course, the protagonist is not the most likeable empathetic person ....
Wait! Google says there was a play version back in 2016? with Nick Offerman?
But, this is a key paragraph from another site which for some reason BWW left out of its article: "Billed as a riotously funny reworking of Hitchcock’s film, Rice’s adaptation turns the original thriller on its head. With just six shape-shifting performers, a fabulous ‘50s soundtrack, and a lot of hats, this dazzling production plays with heart, mind, and soul." Eleanor Worthington Cox apparently left mid-show on Thursday and the alternate/understudy is on Friday. Hopefully Worthington-Cox will be fully healthy on Monday for the filming.
This news also may mean that there will be no cast recording and no transfer to Broadway. That said, I'm very excited for the pro-shot to be available soon!

What kind of negotiation did they do for music royalties? It's not even a catalogue show where they could negotiate with one artist or estate. It's about a billion songwriters. Did they do some kind of package deal that keeps the rights costs manageable?"

Agreed. A cross between Romy & Michele's High School Reunion and Only Murders In The Building.
WARNING: The stage is very high - and sitting in the first four or five rows of the stalls can lead to neck pain - but those seats are much less expensive!

TodayTix is a prime source for day seats(rush) and lotteries. But, is not always the least expensive alternative for tickets. Asking at Box Office frequently is best option.
Agree that Next to Normal and Operation Mincemeat should be at the top of the list.
I have not seen, but there are fans of the new special Starlight Express and the longer playing ABBA Voyage. Also, Stranger Things - but it's coming to NYC next March.
Fiddler on the Roof at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre has received some excellent reviews and apparently "sunrise, sunset" begins right around the actual sunset time.

This gives them the chance to start building a public profile (currently non-existent), while fine-tuning any script or accent changes needed for the North American ear. "
Please no. It’s just so corny…and bad. If this must come to the states, it should definitely do th
Well thought out reviews and I am increasingly chagrined that we didn't get to see Gift in Two Strangers, because I did not enjoy the then understudy. From all the descriptions of Gift's performance with Tutty, I'm sure I would have enjoyed the show immensely rather than feeling disappointed at what could have been. Tutty was great - it just didn't work with the understudy.
I just told some friends who were considering a trip to NYC that instead they should go to London
I "think" Two Strangers would do well in the US - it's sweet enough - but, it really depends on the actors. Tutty was great but we had the first understudy for Robin (she was replaced about two weeks ago) and she was just, in my opinion, not good enough and not on the same level with Tutty. As a result, the show didn't take off like it was constructed to do. Since the plot has many holes/unexplained or curious motivations and actions, it really is dependent on those performe
