I don't think James Barbour has been mentioned yet.

Patti LuPone. Her voice...I am in awe.

Leslie Kritzer has a big Voice.
James Barbour does have a HUGE voice.
I am talking about performers that can sing over an orchestra in a pit. I don't think alot of them can do that. not like opera singers can.
I am thinking that Les Mis people and or Phantom people might. As usually you hire BIG voices for those shows.
ivan rutherford, randall keith, alex gemignani even.

Marc Kudisch?

Sorry folks . . .I've worked with that guy and not only was he absolutely awful (screaming, cursing, throwing props) to the entire crew, he was totally screwed on nights that his mic went out. Small voice.

I can't even express what a nightmare it was to work with him.

After tonight I have to say Sherie Rene Scott and Tyler Maynard have quite standout voices.

I honestly love Leslie, but let's be honest...she hasn't got a BIG voice. A nice voice, but not a big one. If you listen to "The Great American Trailerpark Musical" all the other girls on it have got bigger voices!
And as for Tyler, standout voice YES...big voice NO! But he is cute anyway!
Hadley Fraser (who I have had the pleasure of working with) has got a huge voice!

To contradict Sievep 120%, Marc Kudisch is a GREAT guy, incredibly professional and giving, and has a big voice. Whatever experience you had with him (if you in fact did), was an anomaly and in no way representative of who he is.

Oh, trust me, I did work with him (Have you?), and he never took the time to even know my name, as I said before was cursing, screaming, and throwing props backstage (like a large glass vase), and the sound guys had to turn up his mic to just below the point of feedback in order for the audience to hear him, during musical and dialogue sequences, and he also had a big sound meeting to insert reverb into some of his singing and dialogue to make his voice sound bigger. He also never really learned his part and, on one night, inserted "f**k" into the show five times for no particular reason. Oh, he also said "f**k you" to another actress on stage, during a performance.

Oh, and during tech, he also re-directed most of the scenes he was in to make sure that the show was all about him . . .granted he was a major character, but he was being upstaged by a special effect and literally made up some music before the special effect happened so he could have a big "loud" note.

Even if it was an anomaly, an actor NEVER has the right to treat colleagues the way Marc did during that show (and I'm told from others they've had the same experience). In any other industry he would have been fired.

I'll have to disagree with you on Tyler Maynard having a big voice. Some of his notes filled the whole theater at Mermaid last night. It was quite impressive. I think his is one of my favorite voices to listen to, it's gorgeous.

huh. Well maybe I am wrong on that one. I don't know ms. Kritzer (as apparently you do) so I def concede to your opinion. I just thought at her Les Mouches concert it seemed pretty big.
Patti Lupone has a HUGE voice. I know that one fur shur.
and maybe rob evan?
I guess point being, that there are few and far between. You would think most bway performers would have big voices, not the other way around.

I think Kritzer has a pretty big voice. At least she sounded like she did on the Broadway Bares video, but I've never seen her live...

Having seen her in Trailer Park three times, in Bares, and in Blonde many times, not to mention having heard some of her other stuff, I vote for yes big voice...but, I've never heard her unmiked, as someone mentioned back on the first page one should do in order to really judge this.

yes, but who in this day and age will do a show unmiked. I don't see it happening. so I guess its all up to speculation

Oh, I'd love to do a show unmiked. I did a show once and the top of my mike literally fell off and I was actually kind of excited.

However, with an orchestra on mike, it's very daunting to sing over them.
