This may be a silly question for people who know this play, but i know this is (mostly) a silent play, is there any place where we might get to hear Julia’s iconic laugh?

I'd guess that Pedro couldn't do it with his wildly successful TV and film career right now.

I was thinking Blueberries was going to be an acclaimed play that would sell well and extend. Guess not.

I did an audible”woah” when I saw this cast.

Ticket prices will be hilarious - I’ll guess $999 orchestras seats.

I’d say probably. If I’m remembering correctly, her character is the one who initially struggles the most with the silence rules of the retreat.

Who all plans to buy the two show "bundle" this week?

Downstate is going to have a very hard time considering its subject matter and a cast that has very little name recognition. While this kind of bundle deal could be effective in some cases, I really am not sure how effective it will be in this situation. Small Mouth Sounds has a cast that would spur people to make a trip to NYC and shell out a lot of money for tickets, but Downstate will be closed by the time it starts. It seems like something that would mostly appeal to local ticketbuyers or those who make several trips in a year.

Honestly, I'm thinking of it less as a bundle than $400 for one ticket, and I suspect plenty of others will do the same. I wonder if Rudin et al. isn't just setting up Downstate to have a lot of empty seats, with people buying tickets they never intend to use just to get the one they want. It's less a matter of, "Oh, I won't be able to see the first show" than "Who cares about the first show? I'll buy the ticket if I have to but don't have to use it." At least with show packages at theaters that offer them you usually don't have to claim the seats for a show you don't want to see even if they're included in the package. But here, where you have to buy tickets to one to get the other... I have a feeling the Theatr app is going to be flooded with Downstate tickets, and yeah, those houses are going to have a lot of empty seats. But maybe its worth the sales to fund the show even if the seats are empty.

There was a fair amount of skepticism about Death of a Salesman going into it. The play had been revived just a few years before, and the box office was stronger at first for Dog Day Afternoon. The enthusiasm for the revival on this board persuaded me to get a fourth-row side orchestra ticket (for $172 or something) long before it became a box office sensation.
