I always only get the last post from the previous page, which helps when continuing the conversation in a reading sense.
The two #2's is probably because the original post, in coding, probably can't be labeled as the # 0 but the board does not start tracking replies until after a comment is made following the OP. So the first post is #1 in the thread, and the second is the first "reply" so even though there are two posts, the board only recognizes it as one reply.Does that make sense? It makes sense in my head, but not really in writing, haha.
I'm the same as KnewIt. Its very seldom one post transfers over to the next page. Its anywhere from 3-7 varies constantly but has been happening for years. If makes a difference I'm usually using Safari as my browser
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter."
Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.
"and that when one goes to the next page, the first few posts -- as few as one, as many as seven -- are always repeats from the previous page."
The only time I've seen more than just the last post from the previous page repeat at the top of the next page is when there were posts that were deleted. Otherwise it's always just been one post repeating.
On all my devices things are glitching here. On the Little Shop Reunion thread I can't see new replies unless I click reply. And on another thread page four is just not showing up.
Right some posts are not showing up either. In the Matilda thread on the first page, there are posts on page 2 - but you can't find them if you just go to page 2.
