"But I relish every brillant inspired moment. This is who I'm determined to be- an actor/singer/dancer-no, I take that back, this is who I am. These people are my tribe, my destiny. I know it.

Oh wow! This is great for Adam! I bought Civilian and I think musically it's a lot more accessible than Model Prisoner which took a few listens for me to love. Civilian has more pulsing rock and driving beats. Sounds like he's got a real band behind him now. He's really maturing into his sound. I'll try to look for him on The View or the CBS Morning Show. Aw.
woot adam! I am so happy for him. He deserves to be on the billboard charts!
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
And WHY haven't I received this email? I swear, I'm on their black-list

YAY ADAM! I'm thinking about going down the day of and trying to get tickets for the show.... because I'm crazy. I mean, if that's the difference between seeing him once soon or waiting until the summer or whatever, then I'm so there.
I'll be really interested to see him on The View. He should have fun with those ladies, assuming he's on for a full interview, and not just to sing a song.
ETA: I guess I might as well tack this on here, rather than try to find one of the old Rent movie threads. I just read an article which said that the New York exterior filming will take place in January, so maybe that's why Adam will be back here then.

Hm. Chloe - I'm worried he may just sing a song, much like Euan Morton did on the show over the Summer, but we'll see. New York filming in January? I thought he'd be back in NY then for a break for the holidays, but as long as he's back, I guess. Maybe they'll squeeze in another concert and make me smile.
