i'm gonna be crucified for saying this, but CHICAGO. i honestly didn't care for chicago after seeing it a few times. they cut out class (and put it on the DVD and it sucked) along with a little bit of good, i am my own best friend, i know a girl, me and my baby, when velma takes the stand. and then velma was a supporting role and roxie was a leading role when both are supposed to be equal. rene whatsherface couldn't sing and looked hideous (WAY too skinny and whin

if you think about it, everything's based on something no matter what. inspiration is what keeps the world going, everything sparks another something's flame that burns for a long time until something else starts another one.

BAT BOY Sep 5

ok, after searching the net and reading countless synopsises (i dunno how to spell) i have yet to come across one that doesn't say "a horrific secret is revealed." SO, my question: who wants to post a synopsis with complete information, including the "spoilers" and juicy gossipy info? i'm dying to know what's going on in this bloody show and amazon.com is out of the script or i'd just order that and read it. oh and also, why is ruthie killed? does dr parker go insane after

Pippin Ending Nov 30
2003, 05:40:14 PM
how important, in your opinion, is the ending to PIPPIN? i'm performing in it and my director has decided to change the ending where the set stays onstage, the leading player walks off and everyone sings "Corner of the Sky" as the finale. its different but it doesn't feel like "Pippin" to me. what's your imput on this?

ooh i just thought that The Civil War would make a great PBS special...it's a really good show, with some awesome songs, but it didn't do well because there's a million characters and a million stories. i think it would be a great TV musical

i honestly don't care for bdwy musicals as movies, but i must admit chicago, little shop, grease, and chrous line are some of my favorite movies. i prefer them onstage tho. but if i wanted a musical onscreen, i'd love to see Rent as a movie, even tho this musical is slowly dying (for me at least) i think it'd make a great film. as for who should be in it...i have no clue

i agree with staying away from the movie soundtrack, except for "look at me, i'm sandra dee" and "there are worse things i could do." and also, it depends on what part ur going for for which CD to buy.
the london cast is just downright fun. i love it. and it's the ONLY cd with the real version of "shakin at the high school hop." i would strongly reccomend this one because there aren't many major music changes in it.
the new and the "new-est" BDWY cast recordings (with rosie and
