Last night I watched the entire series of the [title of show] show and loved every second of it. I can't wait to see the show when I return to NY in August, and I really want to buy the cast recording. I have one concern though. Will listening to the cast recording ahead of time ruin the show when I see it live? For example (and I think many of you can identify with this), knowing the Avenue Q score ahead of time ruins nearly all of the jokes when you finally see the show. I have found this is often the case with musical comedies. Does [tos] fall into the same trap? Should I avoid the cast recording until I see it, or will knowing the score ahead of time enhance the live performance? Thank you for your feedback!
uuuh.... well dont listen over and over again but listen once or twice and youll get it more when you get there. And of course falling in love and having more time for a buildup of excitement allways make shows funner. And omg listen to "Nine Peoples Favorite Things", "Die Vampire Die", and "A way Back To Then" they are MIND BLOWING Heidi Blickenstaff will amaze you i PROMISE.
Omg how freakin HAlarious is Clinton Kelly from WNTW????
