Worth it to get a TDF Membership for a few weeks?

Hey all. I'll be in town for work for about most of June. I use to live in the city and had a TDF membership, but I've since moved out. Is it worth it to pay the $40 for the membership to book stuff for the next few weeks? Is there anything good on there? I've seen the majority of stuff on Broadway, so I'll likely do a lot of lotteries and just see what I get. But is it worth it for anything else?

Well that isn't really an easy question to answer. It depends on what shows release tickets to TDF and how many. Are you looking to see shows a second time or looking to see some Off-Broadway shows? If you are looking to see stuff you haven't seen, It may be worth it. You will have it for a year and can use it if you are back in town within the year.

Pretty interested in all of these so maybe worth it: Gypsy, Sunset, RWHC, Boop, Smash, & Juliet, Stranger Things, Cabaret, Dead Outlaw, Floyd Collins, Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, Hell's Kitchen and The Last Five Years.

I do notice that TDF has a whole bunch more of the new spring musicals than it did last year!

I think it is worth it. Just in the last few weeks I've gotten tickets to John Proctor is the Villain, The Last Five Years, Floyd Collins, Real Women Have Curves, Dead Outlaw, Smash and Glass, Kill, What if if Only, Imp at the Public. I've also seen things like & Juliet, Gypsy, Sunset Blvd, and many more up recently (but I saw them earlier). Totally worth it if you're flexible with which performances you go to!

If your TDF membership gives you decent discounts or special access, $40 is worth it, especially for the convenience of booking in advance. I'd take it just for the ease of logistics and win something you'd otherwise miss out on.
