I second that Sunfish. I'd love to see Max von Essen back on Broadway.

I'd love to see Christine Baranski as well, but I like Happy Family and it seems to be doing well in ratings. I hope it continues to do well too, mostly because I absolutely LOVE seeing my beloved Glad Girl in a series! Yay!

Al Dente,

Perhaps I should have felt so compelled as to add a little "re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Who Needs To Be on broadway Now" after my reply. It was, in no way, meant to disparage you.

Sorry for the harsh tone! Seriously, no harm was intended.

I definitely agree about Shoshana Bean needing a leading role. When I went to visit my friend that goes to CCM she was also going to school there at the time and I was fortunate enough to see her be the lead in "Babes and Arms". She was amazing!!!! And I saw her as Asaka in "Once on this Island". You wouldn't believe the things she does with her voice....

Also I agree with ALICE RIPLEY, MARCIA MITZMAN, RUTHIE HENSHALL JUDY KUHN.....:)

Ruthie Henshall is /said/ to suck in Chicago in the West End at the moment. I haven't seen her but from all those I trust the opinion of.. it's not good.

Barbra Streisand
HEATHER HEADLEY BACK AS AIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

The Mullally, um, well, the entire cast of W/G....
In addition to Linda Eder, Emily Skinner, Ruthie The Fabulous, The Pawkinator (hee! Anyone else go to Larry's Luau last week? I can't get that song out of my head), and Cheryl Freeman (I'm thinking Evilene in the Wiz revival...).
I'm waiting for the day when the Weisslers get really crazy with stunt casting and hire Mullally as Amos or Billy. *That* would be worth my 100$.

Coleen Sexton NEEDS to be back on Broadway. I'll second Linda Eder, Kerry O'Malley, (a leading role for Shoshana), and I would love to see myself on Broadway....LOL!

Cheers,
