One lives in a field of influences, one is influenced by everyone one meets, everything is an exchange of influences, all opinions are derivative. I agree with many of yours Margo. Particularly Laurette Taylor in The Glass Menagerie and Helen Hayes in Victoria Regina. To those I'd probably add The Corn is Green with Ethel Barrymore and Hamlet with John Barrymore.

I also want to list Bus Stop with Kim Stanley. It was on after I was born, but I would have been much too young to see it. I wish I could see it now.

Just 5? In no particular order here are some I would like to have seen, more for members of the cast than quality of show or music:

Li'l Abner - Opened 11/15/56 w/Tina Louise, Julie Newmar, Charlotte Rae and others who are still active in film, TV or theater.

Valmouth (West End) - Opened 10/2/59 w/Cleo Laine, Patsy Rowlands

House of Flowers (Philadelphia) - Opened 12/24/54 w/Pearl Bailey, Diahann Carroll

Flahooley - Opened 5/14/51 w/Barbara Cook and the incredible Yma Sumac

Bells are Ringing - Opened 11/29/56 w/Judy Holliday, Jean Stapleton

Well, as the pre-historic dinosaur on this board, born in 1921, I would have loved to see the following:

The original Black Crook

The original Red Mill

The original Mlle. Modiste

The original Naughty Marietta

The original play Romance by Edward Shelton (long forgotten)

The original Peg O' My Heart with Laurette Taylor

The original CLARENCE with Alfred Lunt and Helen Hayes

The original SALLY with Marilyn Miller
