The next thing scheduled is Gypsy on the 19th with my family when they're in town. I'll probably end up rushing or lotterying something else before that if for no other reason than it feels weird to go that long and not see anything. Don't know what though as there's not a lot I'm interested in seeing or seeing again at the moment.

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
I'm seeing a few of my friends in Bye Bye Birdie at a regional theatre, I've never seen the show or the movie so I'm excited about that, but for Broadway I'm gonna see [title of show] in August
I'm seeing South Pacific with my mom August 20th, but between then and now I'm not sure. I think [tos], boeing-boeing, 39 steps, and Mamma Mia [ matinee, then go see the movie...] are distinct possibilities.
No idea when I'll go again yet, but at the top of my list right now are Xanadu and Gypsy. I would also like to do a second visit to Spamalot and In the Heights.

Well, I move to NYC on Sunday, August 3rd and I am so excited! Within the first few weeks I want to see:
Gypsy South Pacific In The Heights August: Osage County [title of show] Xanadu (for a 2nd time) A Chorus Line (for a 2nd time before it closes) RENT (just one last time before it closes)
I am SUPER bummed that I'll be missing Damn Yankees by ONE week! Arg!
Hopefully I'll be able to cross off every show on my list before the month of August is over lol
I'm hoping for the best!

I'm going to do on stage seating for Xanadu Wednesday 7/9. The next Wednesday I hope to see ACL before it closes. I loved [TOS] so much on Sunday that I am going to go back and bring my partner. After that, it will be just about time for "A Tale of Two Cities".
"The price of love is loss, but still we pay; We love anyway."
[tos] tonight Compose Yourself! at the York on 7/12 Damn Yankees on 7/16 A Catered Affair on 7/27 Damn Yankees on 7/27 Tale of Two Cities on 8/19 Equus on 9/5 Billy Elliot on 10/1
It's usually at least a couple of years before I get to see some of the shows you all are seeing in New York so I live vicariously through your posts.
The Color Purple is opening our Broadway series at the Fox. I'm also seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on July 20th at Stages. I'm looking forward to seeing Christopher Kale Jones again. On July 27th, I'm seeing Miss Saigon at the Muny.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
