With the success of Death of A Salesman, I'm curious what the word is on next Scott Rudin projects. I read that there were three projects, any word on what those might be, or who might be in them?

Two are believed to be Bruce Norris plays: COTTONFIELD (directed by Robert O'Hara) and DOWNSTATE (directed by Joe Mantello).
I'm sure he has lots in the pipeline.

Cottonfield and Downstate both sound promising, especially with O’Hara and Mantello involved. I’m curious whether the third project is another Bruce Norris play or something completely different.

He was mentioned to be bringing Hare's MONTAUK. It's now being produced by MTC with Linney leading and Sullivan directing. Not sure if he is involved as his production was to involve Metcalf and Mantello?
DOWNSTATE looks to go into rehearsals for Broadway early Sept. hopefully directed by Mantello (learning MacKinnon was the biggest error at PH)...A limited engagement ending early 2027.
Don't see COTTONFIELD in until, at very earliest, spring. It could now find new direction with the jig being up on O'Hara's efforts since Slave Play...

What do you mean MacKinnon was the biggest error at PH?? Her direction was an ace. And why would Bruce Norris want two new plays in the same season?

What about Audra's A Little Night Music, which was confirmed by Sondheim when he agreed to her Gypsy. Is that a Rudin project?

Unfortunately his Blanchett/Andrews Little Night Music never materialized. I would love to see him revival something lush and grand like Titanic or South Pacific or Follies or to have him take on the rumoured Les Mis revival or Singing in the Rain
I would also love to see him bring in some big names: Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock or John Travolta or Helen Mirren.
I look back so fondly at Hello, Dolly I do believe it was such a perfect revival and then to have Bette. Selfishly I guess I just want more of that.
