Daniel, who will always be Dexter to me, did leave a bit to be desired. Karen was simply wonderful, and it SHOULD have made her a star. Well, "The Opposite of Sex" will. Debra was also terrific, and "Everybody's Girl" still makes me howl. What can I say? I'm a whore for double-entendres.

times squares regular; "kiss of the spider woman" was a hit and won the tony for best musical, plus 6 more tonys....was it underrated or not a hit u think? im just wondering...i wish it was on ,instead of "phantom" or one of those shows that have been on since forever, that arent nearly as good as "kiss".

She Loves Me (though it won the Tony for Revival) it is underrated. No community theatres do it, when it first opened it was disliked and I think the music is very catchy and I also agree with Ragtime and Sideshow.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
Okay, just want to add my vote for Side Show...also Jane Eyre.
Does anyone know if there was ever a broadway production of Meet Me in St. Louis? I believe there was not too awful long ago, but I'm not 100% sure. If so, how well did it do? Updated On: 3/25/05 at 06:07 PM
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
I'm not sure Ragtime or Titanic would qualify as "underrated". Ragtime won a few Tonys and if it was a financial failure, it received much praise. Titanic did extremely well at the Tonys and was also pretty highly praised at the time, especially considering the negative preopening buzz.
My pics:
Jane Eyre Bombay Dreams Parade (though it did walk away with two Tonys) Once on This Island (a few Tony noms, but the show got lost in season of bigger spectacle hits) Aspects of Love Blood Brothers (had a healthy run, but has since been almost entirely forgotten)
