Highlights: (Shows I've Never Seen Before) 1 Sunday in the Park with George (June) 2 Billy Elliot (November) 3 Spring Awakening Onstage (October) 4 Gypsy (April) 5 South Pacific (August) 6 Shrek (November/ December (Much Imrpoved)) 7 The Will Rogers Follies (By far the best regional show I've seen in years) (August) 8 RENT (July) 9 In the Heights (May/ July) 10 A Tale of Two Cities (September/ November)
The Downs: 5 Cry Baby Opening Night- An okay show, not the best, but still good 4 Jersey Boys- After spending a good chunk of change for side mezzanine seats, I was disappointed in the show, greatly... 3 Spamalot- Once my favorite show, I now see why it's closing... 2 Billy Elliot Cancelled Performance- Had to include it... 1 Urinetown (Indian Hills)- They destroyed it... completely...
34 Performances in all... It's the most I've ever seen in a single year...
Pamela's First Musical 62nd Tony Awards Mamma Mia Movie Premiere Broadway on Broadway (camped out 4 hours in advance) Xanadu (Final Show) All About Eve Read through Gypsy Billy Elliot (1st preview) DOUBT movie Premiere Pal Joey The Who's Tommy Reunion Concert
Tommy Reunion concert was the perfect way to end my college semester and the year 2008. Billy Elliot is one of the most beautiful events I have ever witnessed. Pal Joey I would of passed up after seeing it. All About Eve, Angela Lansbury brought down the house when she could not read a line correctly (CLASSIC). Mamma Mia Movie premiere was nice cause I got some of the blue carpet from the ceramony and met Bjorn (ABBA) and Meryl Streep. Gypsy I sat in second row orchestra, i was in awe as patti stared at me while performing Rose's Turn.
Herbie: "Honey, Don't you know there's a depression?"
Rose: "Of Course I know, I Watch Fox News"

I've seen some regional stuff too, and also went to an Anthony Rapp concert, an Adam Pascal concert, and an Idina Menzel concert (wow, makes me sound like the worlds biggest fangirl.) I also saw the Broadway in Boston gala which was pretty cool too.
Speech and Debate (I can't believe that was this year.) In the Heights Is He Dead? [title of show] The 39 Steps Gypsy Forbidden Broadway Shrek
Wow, I thought it would be more... Speech and Debate was probably one of the best things I have ever seen. Although I actually enjoyed everything on the list.
