Any chance there’s been any updates about the possible transference from the lower east side to Broadway? Any news about that album that was supposed to have been made available? I recall hearing “fall” but there’s been absolute dead silence.

Unless another non-profit picks it up as part of their season, I highly doubt it. A revival like that could only exist because the cast was bankable and running costs were cheaper. Even putting it in the Circle in the Swuare (the only viable house given the staging), the increased costs would cannibalize any chance of profit.

I don’t doubt what you say but this appears to be in contradiction to everything discussed months ago and still leaves us pondering the possibility of an album. Sad, if true, but I suppose that’s the nature of the biz.

An album is more likely than a transfer.
